3. Services Provided
3.1 Scope of Services
We provide the following services:
- Mould inspection and testing
- Indoor air quality testing
- Damp inspection and diagnosis
- Speciality testing for specific toxins and pollutants
- Heat loss calculations and energy efficiency assessments
- Loft insulation installation (where applicable)
- EPC rating consultancy
3.2 Free Loft Inspection
Our free loft inspection is offered as an initial assessment service. This inspection:
- Is provided at no cost to qualifying properties within our service area
- Includes a basic visual inspection and preliminary assessment
- May not include comprehensive testing or detailed reports (which may be subject to additional charges)
- Does not obligate you to proceed with any paid services
- Is subject to availability and scheduling
3.3 Limitations
- Our services are limited to loft spaces and do not constitute a full structural survey
- We are not building surveyors or structural engineers unless specifically stated
- Our recommendations are based on visual inspection and testing equipment readings
- We cannot guarantee detection of all defects or hazards

4. Booking and Appointments
4.1 Booking Process
To book an inspection, you must:

- Provide your full name, telephone number, email address, and property address
- Respond to our team’s communication to confirm appointment details
4.2 Access Requirements
You must ensure:
- Safe and unobstructed access to the loft space
- The loft hatch is accessible
- Electricity supply is available if required
- Any pets are secured during the visit
- Someone over 18 years old is present during the inspection
4.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice without charge
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Free Inspection
The initial loft inspection is provided free of charge, subject to the terms outlined in Section 3.2.
5.2 Additional Services
- Prices for insulation installation and additional testing services will be provided in a written quotation
- All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to adjust prices if unforeseen circumstances arise

- Final payment is due upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed

6. Inspection Reports and Findings

- Inspection reports will be provided within 7-14 business days of the inspection
- Reports are delivered electronically unless otherwise requested
- Reports are for the use of the named client only
6.2 Accuracy and Limitations
- Reports are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection
- We use industry-standard testing equipment calibrated to manufacturer specifications
- Results are accurate to the extent of the equipment’s capabilities
- Hidden defects or conditions not visible during inspection cannot be reported
- We do not provide legal or definitive assessments of health risks
6.3 Use of Reports
- Reports are intended for information and guidance purposes
- They should not be solely relied upon for property purchase decisions
- You should seek independent professional advice where necessary

7. Insulation Installation Services
7.1 Installation Work
Where we provide insulation installation:

- Guarantees are void if unauthorized alterations are made
- Regular maintenance and proper use of loft space is required
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Our Responsibilities
We will:
- Conduct all work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
- Carry appropriate insurance coverage
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment

8.2 Your Responsibilities
You must:
- Disclose any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, structural concerns)
- Ensure the property is safe for our team to access
- Warn us of any pets, alarms, or other potential issues
- Not enter work areas without permission during installation
8.3 Hazardous Materials
- If we discover suspected asbestos or other hazardous materials, work will cease immediately
- You will be responsible for professional removal and disposal
- We are not licensed asbestos removers
9. Liability and Insurance
